The members of this printmaking collective in the Pilsen neighborhood once called themselves Taller Mexicano de Grabado, located on Halsted Ave at 18th St. They did an exhibit opening commemorating the death of Emiliano Zapata and gave this new acoustic group a chance to play. The rest is history.
