PINEAPPLE UPSIDE DOWN CAKE 1 can condensed milk=400 gm Maida. 200 gm Butter. 100 gm Pineapple slices canned. 6 Baking powder. 1 tsp Baking soda. 1 tsp Soda water. 1 cup or 150 ml 5-6 tbsp sugar for caramalising 1/2 tsp yellow colour and 1/2 tsp pineapple essence. Preheat oven to 180C,prepare 8 inch round pan by oiling and dusting with maida.caramalise sugar by boiling in a pan without water till it is golden brown.Arrange pineapple slices in the pan.Pour caramal syrup over the pineapple slices.Sift together dry ing.Beat butter and condensed milk.Add dry ing and soda water little by little.At end add essence and colour .Bake for 30 or 40 minutes till done.Invert it and decorate with cherries.
