PINK FLOYD NOW ON BLITZ MAGAZINES WEB SITE When the members of Pink Floyd announced earlier this year the imminent release of an all new album based on a template of unreleased material created around the time of the recording of their 1994 The Division Bell album, there was some question as to whether or not this collection should be classified as a new release or as archival material. Happily, The Endless River is as close to a new Pink Floyd album as could be hoped for at this juncture. Much of the recent press about the album has focused primarily on the various circumstances leading to its creation, with first person accounts from lead guitarist David Gilmour and drummer Nick Mason. However, Blitz Magazine has taken it a step further and provides a closer look at the material itself, and how it holds up against their vast and varied recorded legacy.
