PIPPAS STORY: Pippa has had a rough start at life. Pippa found herself alone and scared in a large intake kill facility. People walked by every day coming to adopt a dog or puppy. She hoped that soon someone would grab that leash and take her out and just give her a chance to love them. She begged and pleaded. She knew she was sweet and loved everyone and everything. Yet she continued to get passed up. Days passed and Pippas time was running out. Soon she was moved to the ISO room and put on the code red list. You see Pippa became sick because she was never properly vaccinated by her previous owner. Despite being sick we knew we had to help this girl. So one of our rescues fosters hurried up to the shelter and we saved Pippa within hours of being euthanized. She still had a long road ahead. Pippa was taken to the vet and the vet feared the worst. He feared Pippa had caught distemper. A deadly canine disease. Pippas battle began. After being treated with antibiotics Pippa improved and pulled through. The vet then noticed Pippa had skin issues. A skin scrape determined that Pippa had demodex mange. On top of that we later found out she also had ringworm. So after weeks of treatment for mange and ringworm Pippa is finally ready for her forever home. She is ready for someone to finally take her leash and give her the love and care she so truly deserves. Lets share Pippa all over Facebook so she can finally have her happily ever after!
