PK - The movie... Well, Aamit is a great asset to our nation. His patriotism and public sense are of the highest quality and deserves respect. However, he is also a human being and a sensible businessman. But his PK is not. To me, it is senseless. Hope he takes PK-II and it comes up with islamic tinge. He will definitely see fear for his life and career. I am sure he has taken the hindu route so that it can sell well in Paki markets too... He would not dare to do an islamic version of the same. If he does, then some wahabbi or Iranian cleric will issue a fatwa to claim his life in islamic hell. The reason? --> 1. Hindus are docile, sterile and it will take long time for hindus to realize that they are also idiots. 2. Hindus are spineless, odorless creatures. 3. They have the highest number of intellectuals who will write against their own belief. 4. Since Akbar times, Hindus are brainwashed on secularism and it is very difficult to change in 60 years. 5. Hindus have been doing this on themselves for time immemorials. So it does not matter. 6. Hindus are more self critical since Vedic times. PS: there are opinions being floated around by intellectuals that the movie made 100 Cr in 3-4 days and asking where were these Bajrang Dal? Why these people did not ask the same question when Kamal Hassan did Vishwaroopam and TN muslims asking Kamals head for that? These are the same intellectuals who condemned Hindus for Godhra but did not criticise or did not write a single word about pre-Godhra violence when hundreds of hindu karsevaks were burnt alive. In india, intellectualism means licking minority shoes and feeling happy and remaining silent when majority are burnt alive or converted by minorities... India is a strange world. What I am asking is a balanced view, balanced actions and sensible criticism on both sides. By creating such (good though) movies, we are feeding Bajrang Dals and Ram senas.
