Any issues with the betting operator or suspected foul play in relation to betting throughout the tournament should be referred directly to the stewards panel. Please Note: In accordance with PKC policy a 5% tax on winning bets will be applied. This includes your stake and will be paid into the PKC fund account upon settlement of winning bets. (Example: A winning bet of $100@$6.00 on Karemacher results in a net payout to client of $570.00 after winning tax has been applied) A 5% tax will also be applied to total turnover. The PKC VI USA 2014 Champion Market is to be considered Final Field, deductions will apply in the event of player scratchings prior to tournament start. Betting is win only (there will be no each way betting). Betting will close at the start of the tournament and may be re-opened between rounds. All betting is fixed odds. However odds are subject to fluctuation dependant on interest for each player. All odds are decimal (not fractional). For bets to stand the full amount of stake must be deposited into the designated account upon bet confirmation. For the PKC VI USA Champion Market (McCarthy Out) a winning bet is the correct selection of the 2014 PKC VI tournament winner (as awarded by the PKC President upon tournament completion). However if McCarthy is the winner a winning bet is the official runner up (as awarded by the PKC President upon tournament completion) In the event of a tie a winning bet is the correct selection of the playoff winner (McCarthy Out) In the event of no playoff a winning bet is the correct selection of the winner of the countback system (McCarthy Out) In the event of no playoff or countback system and a shared tournament win, a winning bet is the correct selection of all tied participants and will result in the stake and winnings being divided by the number of players involved in the tie for first place (McCarthy Out) Rules (As outlined in PKC Tournament Letter) - Gambling & Betting Rule: Any form of gambling on the PKC tournament will only be permitted with the licenced operator. All other bets are prohibited. Competitors will be allowed to place a bet on two categories – the PKC VI USA Outright Champion Market and PKC VI USA Spreads. In the case of competitors betting on the PKC VI USA Outright Champion Market, should they place a bet on a fellow competitor, the potential winnings of this bet must be lower than the potential winnings for the bet they have placed on themselves. ‘Laying’ bets are prohibited for all competitors. Selling of an individual Stableford Points Spread in which the bettor is the quoted player is not allowed (Buying is allowed) Selling of an individual Stableford Points Spread in which the bettor is not quoted is allowed (both Buying and Selling are allowed) Selling of a Specials Individual Spread in which the bettor is the quoted player is allowed (no buying is allowed) Buying of a Specials Individual spread in which the bettor is the quoted player is not allowed (Selling is allowed) Special Note: The player handicap quoted in the attached current PKC VI USA Champion outright market is the USGA rating /slope adjusted handicap for Round 1 (Pacific Dunes) of PKC VI USA tournament Please be aware of the unique nature of the PKC Tournament Rules. These will have a significant effect on the handicap of each player at the conclusion of each tournament round (stage). There will be two adjustments to player handicap at the end of each tournament round (stage). 1) Adjustment according to finishing place in previous stage as follows – Each player handicap will be adjusted for the following round in accordance with overall finishing position of the previous round. This adjustment will be as follows- Tournament Stage 1st place -2 stroke adjustment Tournament Stage 2nd place -1 stroke adjustment Tournament Stage 3rd place 0 stroke adjustment Tournament Stage 4th place 0 stroke adjustment Tournament Stage 5th place +1 stroke adjustment Tournament Stage 6th place +2 stroke adjustment 2) Adjustment in accordance with the rating/slope of the golf course where the next tournament round will be held Each player handicap will be adjusted prior to each round at each different course, in accordance with the USGA rating/slope index rating of that course. Unauthorised bets and instances of ‘tanking’ will result in immediate disqualification and possible life sanctions.
