PLAINFIELD, NJ Plainfield NJ Animal Shelter has had a rough winter. This shelter houses many abandon and surrendered animals waiting for a good home in northern NJ. They need our help to continue the good work they do for NJs homeless furry residents. Please support them if you can this spring January 29, 2014 To our beloved supporters: As I am sure this winter has been difficult for you and your family, it has been most difficult for the animals in our shelter. The extreme cold has caused pipes to burst and heaters to simply stop working. We obviously had no choice but to fix these problems so as to keep our animals warm and safe. Even though we were able to find generous contractors to donate their labor, we were forced to pay for items that were not in our winter budget. Obviously adding to these costs are increases in our utilities. As a result, we are looking at negative cash months in the near term. If you could find it in your hearts to give a little warmth to our animals, it would be most appreciated. In closing, our animals would not be here without your continued support.
