PLAY THE GAME TO WIN BECAUSE WINNERS TAKE ALL I just read the local sports page where I saw a picture of one Black athlete smoothly handing the football off to another Black running back for a scoring touchdown. “Too bad,” I thought to myself, that Black people as a community don’t know how to make that play in the real time of true reality and play that game in the game of life. At best, playing any game that is beyond your control means you are really not in the game. To ultimately win, you have got to play the game to win.
