PLAYER MEETING SATURDAY NIGHT 22/6/13 630pm DAVIES PARK- There is a player information night for all Qld Fijian Rugby League players Saturday night 22/6/13 at Davies Park starting at 630pm. The main agenda is our Opens tour to Sydney in September to play in the World Cup trials. Criteria for selection is based on International Rules, with at least a grandparent born in Fiji to be eligible for selection through heritage. All players are welcome to attend and our only requirement to play is for you to be registered with a QRL club for insurance purposes to play. There will be forms available on the night to register so if you are playing club Rugby you can still be eligible. We will consider all players and our squad has a capacity of 25 - 30 to take to Sydney with all players gaurenteed an opportunity to play in the games. Qld Fijian successfully had 2 players last year make the Junior Bati squad so we would nothing more than to see our Qld based Fijians make the World Cup squad! So get on board
