PLAYER RATINGS IN YESTERDAYS 3-1 VICTORY OVER RHINOS Ariel Sibanda - 7 Restored to the starting line up after sitting it out last week, Mdawini put a good showing despite conceding a goal in the first half. Made a number of excellent saves the most impressive coming on the stroke of full time when his quick reflexes were called upon to stop a goal bound snap shot. Simon Munawa - 6 Operated up & down the right flank and put up an improved showing from the last couple of games. Never severely tested at the back & so ventured forward. He no longer shoots when in sight of goal but opts to pass. Bruce Kangwa - 7 Kangwa produced a mixed display. He looked to support all of Bossos attacks & mis-communication with Mapuranga had him scrambling to recover for the cross that led to the Rhinos goal. Dumisani Ndlovu - 8 Man of the Match. Fazo was rock solid at the back & was particularly impressive when initiating forays into the Rhinos half, roving forward magnificently. Innocent Mapuranga - 6 An assured performance from the captain although it has to be said looked a little bit rusty. He twice in quick succession directed his clearing headers in the wrong direction causing a bit of panic all round. Eric Mdzingwa - 6 Did not put a foot wrong the entire 90 minutes though he wasnt heavily involved in the game. Play seemed to bypass him. Smothered a couple of dangerous looking balls & harshly booked in the first half for a challenge on a Rhinos attacker. Knox Mutizwa - 5 Handed another start in this his coming of age season. He was full of running but unspectacular. Tried on a couple of occasions to shoot at goal but his efforts were a tad weak. Valentine - 6 A player full of potential. He lost possession too easily on a couple of occasions and over hit or misplaced a number of passes. Seemed not in in sync with most of his team mates. Game time is what he needs & we could see the best of him. Joel Ngodzo - 7 A composed performance by Josta though he still needs to work on his fitness levels. Excellent first time touches & good raking passes . Most of Bossos attacking play went via the ex FC Platinum man before he was replaced. Gabriel Nyoni - 7 Worked tirelessly, but guilty of heavy touches & losing possession. Scored to equalise for Bosso & from then on the confidence seemed to ooze back and he had an impressive last quarter of an hour Charles Sibanda - 7 Like his strike partner, Charli was off the boil this afternoon that is until he found the back of the nets with a well directed header. Full of running earlier on but nothing seemed to work for him. A good second half saw him score, was through on goal when a defender blocked his ball illegally in the box using the hand. Stabbed home the penalty expertly. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome Ndiweni - 6 The introduction of Ndiweni gave Bosso the much needed lift & with him in the picture operating on both flanks Rhinos were caught off guard. Other Subs Felix & Godfrey - played ok & made sure Bosso cruised to victory.
