A volunteer writes: Poochie is an absolutely adorable middle-aged lady that is in the midst of her third stay at ACC. With her always-perked bunny ears, mouth that turns upwards into a coy smile, and soulful eyes, whenever I see her Im reminded of Dumbo! And Poochie is just as endearing. Shes very friendly and on the mellow side, but still playful. Poochie relishes a good petting and is very waggy in the presence of people. She loves to go for walks and I dont think shell ever be too old for toys! When shes excited, Poochie sometimes tries to be resourceful and use the leash as a toy - however, she will easily swap for a treat or oblige if you tell her to stop. Poochie walks well on leash, seems house trained, sits perfectly, and even seems to like other dogs!
