PLEASE READ THE NICE THINGS THEY HAVE TO SAY ABOUT ME AT THE SHELTER: Investigating the meaning of Zahirs name, I come across this from author Paul Coelho: ZAHIR, in arabic, means visible, present, incapable of going unnoticed. It is someone or something which, once we have come into contact with them or it, gradually occupies our every thought, until we can think of nothing else....and suddenly her name is perfectly fitting!! I saw Zahir trotting down the hallway when she first arrived at the Brooklyn ACC and was immediately enamored with this pint-sized beauty queen. With her compact stature, button ears, pouty bottom lip, and amber eyes, Zahir is the embodiment of cuteness. I found myself asking staff about her and couldnt wait to meet her myself - and she certainly didnt disappoint! As I entered her room I could hear Zahirs tail beating against the cage and her barking and pleading to go out. As soon as we got outside it became apparent why she was so desperate - Zahir seems very housetrained! She is an absolute doll - very loving and friendly with people. She relishes a good pet and is very playful and attentive. Zahir knows sit and seemed friendly when we encountered other dogs. Zahirs sweetness and charm make her irresistible - please come check her out at the Brooklyn ACC - she could be your latest obsession, but also your new best friend for life!!
