PLEASE HELP ME - I DIE ON THURSDAY, 06/26/14, UNLESS SOMEONE LIKE YOU STEPS UP FOR ME AND SAVES MY DEAR LIFE! PLEASE READ THE NICE THINGS THEY HAVE TO SAY ABOUT ME AT THE SHELTER: Chia is a big honey. She sports the most beautiful tan and white colors. She is a happy pooch with a waggy tail. At three years old she is not a puppy with all the issues that come with puppies. She sits on command and is very keen on treats. She is the right girl for you. Come meet this damsel soon. Ch-ch-ch-chia! Many of us grew up with Chia pets, but this Chia has much more to offer than our grassy-topped, terracotta companions! Her eyelids are dotted with dark spots that make her big, bright eyes pop out. She has adorable chubby cheeks and white socks on all four feet. Shes definitely a looker, but more importantly Chia is an incredibly sweet, friendly lady. When I first approached her cage I could hear Chias tail thumping against the wall - in fact, Chia was so waggy she quickly developed happy tail! While the added weight from the bandage makes it a little harder (she also seems to be an ideal patient - respecting the work of her vets and leaving her pesky bandage alone!), Chia still manages to show her joy in the company of people - she loves to be pet and is very attentive. Chia walks well on leash, seems house trained and knows sit. She can be a bit stressed passing other barking dogs in cages, but seems calm and fine encountering other dogs outside. Chia will require more than just some water and a little sunlight, but she is SO worth it - she has so much love to give!!
