PLEASE HELP MY FRIEND: Although heavily medicated, my friend is in crippling pain. Waited more then six years for a procedure at the Gold Coast Hospital that takes an hour. Wrote to CEO Ron Calvert SIX times. Clavert continually flicked it to Patient Liaison. No power. Calvert then flicked it to Director of Surgical Services, Dr Lance Le Ray. Le Ray dropped the ball. No response. In past, my friend has spent 10 days in hospital as docs decided on medications. Band-aid solution. The hospital made a attempt to stop pain near four years ago. Failed. Mislaid file. Appointment at Pain Clinic in October. Meanwhile ...
