PLEASE HELP! Monday, Dec 22 On behalf of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Lake & Sumter Counties, a Christmas party to benefit the children of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Lake and Sumter Counties will be held on Monday, Dec 22 at the South Lake Club. This has become an annual event providing toys to more than 175 youth, ages 6 to 18. Children from the Clubs in Leesburg, Lady Lake, Eustis, Umatilla, and South Lake will participate and our goal is to be able to provide at least one gift for each child. Right now, we are about 70 gifts shy of reaching that goal. Last year 89% of our club members came from low-income/working poor families. For some of these children there may not be gifts under the tree this year, but together we can help these families experience the joys of the season.
