PLEASE HELP THIS FAMILY -- TRAGIC LOSS, LETS SHOW THE REASON FOR THE SEASON. thanks! please read on.... Everyone, please read the post below.... from Miss America 2011, Teresa Scanlan (from Nebraska, now attending college in VA). This is such a tragedy, please consider helping this Michigan familys mother and four children who recently lost their husband and father unexpectedly. He was a police officer and this is such a tragedy for this family, especially this time of year. I know Teresa is a devout Christian who lives her faith --every Christmas she has traveled to an orphanage in Haiti to help make the holiday special for THEM.
