PLEASE HELP WITH MY MYSTERY........ My great great grandmother was said to be 1/2 Native American. Judging by her pic and her childrens, I believe it. However, I cannot find anything on her or her parents. Mary Ann Samantha Lloyd was born Oct 24, 1854. She died Oct 24, 1932 in Stuckey, GA. She was married to James Jordan J.J. Brantley in Wilkinson County, GA in 1876. I do not know her parents names for certain. Her death certificate provides John Lloyd and Mary Lloyd and that she was born in Wilkinson County, GA. However, I have been unable to find her or her family in any records before the marriage record in 1876. I know that she had three siblings: Willliam Bill Lloyd (married Babe), John T. Lloyd (married first unknown and second Willie Ray Lloyd) and Mat (perhaps a nickname for Martha) who married Jim Mixon. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
