PLEASE IMAGINE IF THIS WAS YOUR DAUGHTER. Sara is a 30 year old single mother who is so full of life, spirit, and love. Her life has dramatically come to a halt in the past few years. Sara has endured many rare illnesses, Lyme’s disease, un-explainable seizures, and illness after illness causing lengthy hospitalizations and lots of pain. Just recently, as her health has deteriorated, she was diagnosed with 2 rare neurodegenerative diseases. She had to stop working and going to school, so she has no health insurance. Medicaid had picked her up but as she became more ill they dropped her. Medicaid picked her up again and palliative care came to help. Then she just recently was dropped again due to the expenses it takes to care for her. She lives in excruciating pain, having Dystonia seizures all day long. Her wonderful mother is homeschooling Emma (Sara’s daughter) as well as caring for Sara 24 hours a day. With the 3 of them together, we need some miracles to start working in action. As Saras mom and daughter have to sit back and watch their daughte/motherr suffer so painfully, she is an amazing mom who never leaves Saras side. This beautiful girl is determined to stay alive for her amazing daughter and since that is not a realistic aspect, we are trying to raise money to keep Sara alive always and forever and make all of her dreams for Emma come true as well as helping her mom pay all the offset expenses that will need to be paid for medical supplies, medicines, and care. Sara’s mom has to inject a concoction of medications through her ports in her chest to keep the medications in her body as she can’t eat much. Sara can only move from her bed to a wheelchair with the help of her mom, and thanks to a friend who built ramps, she can now go sit outside on their deck Every little bit helps.. Please lets all try to share this and give this family some sort of relief so they can enjoy their time they have left together and not worry about the stresses that they are enduring.
