After Typhoon Haiyan struck, Justine Gachos PEGS class decided to help some of the young victims in Leyte. Each morning, for one week, they visited the classrooms in their school, Remington Traditional School, to collect money. They were able to collect a large number of COINS, which they diligently washed (because most of the coins were sticky from being mixed with candies or other sticky items). The amount they collected eventually benefitted several young survivors/students in Leyte, Philippines. Its time to give back to the PEGS class.
