I feel the mayor has done the right thing to ensure all employees are treated fairly.” The allegations against Cochran amount to a he-said, he-said between the fire chief and the mayor. Wow! Its crucial that we all discover, and accurately understand, what being judgmental actually is, and is not. Have we given up on praying for Gods kingdom to COME, and His will to be DONE, on earth, just as it is in Heaven? Why do we pray for this, yet refuse to actively pursue it? Should we do nothing, when someone courageously speaks up for the truth, and gets reacted against, like this? Im SO thankful for those who stand up, and speak up, at times like this! Many people get falsely accused, of being judgmental, because they speak up about and for what God says about a topic or matter. And, even more so, if they become serious about our need to Submit to God; resist the devil, being doers of the Word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves, if we claim to belong to Jesus Christ. Many of us understand the seriousness of this problem more clearly, when we look at certain violations of Gods Word, but we often fail to recognize our own violations of Gods Word, and will. We react the same way that this mayor responded, when someone has the courage to bring our own sinful choices to our attention.
