PLEASE POST PLEASE POST Zane, I beg of you to post this because I am really confused & desperate for answers. I have been with my boyfriend for about a year and a half & hes great. He treats me good, is supportive, caring, loyal, & recently graduated from our college with a Bachelors Degree in Sports Management. He recently told me that he no longer believes in Christ Jesus or his sacrifice but that he does believe in the most high. Ive been a Christian all my life, not because Ive been raised to but because thats what I truly believe in my heart. I can no longer imagine myself marrying or having children with this man because we no longer shares the same beliefs & we cannot connect spiritually. When we first got together I made sure he was a Christian so I wouldnt have to be going through the dilemma I am now. This is really heartbreaking to me because I love him with all my heart, he is my first true love but I just cant see how we would still be together. My question is what do I do? Stick around & see if we get through this? Or accept these unfortunate circumstances & leave now? Please leave me private as well. Thanks! MY RESPONSE: It sounds like you are really upset about it so you need to pray on it. Like you said, you discussed this in the beginning because it was significant enough to you to make sure. It is difficult, albeit not impossible, for two people of different beliefs to raise children but that definitely needs to be discussed beforehand.
