PLEASE READ: East Timor is a new country,we just got an independent from indonesia on 20 of may 2002.But before the colonialised of Japan and portuguese n East Timor were under of colonial portuguese for 450 years,but our country wasnt improve cuz some didnt get the education becouse we have to pay money for administrator so,this payment limited some people couldnt get the education n some were used for the slave or servent to do the work without sallary. when the indonesian soulder came to Timor Leste n they wanted to take over our country but they could not achieve it,n we finally decided n give two points to get Freedom: The points are: 1. Independent (Reverendum) 2. Autonomy In 1999,we selebrated the election of independent n autonomy.Finally we got absolute of independence.Indonsian soulder were get so fed up with Timorese people n many peple were killed by indonesian soldiers n many youths were died.some went to kupang n tambua indonesia,to evoid themselves from th situation.Thanksssssss
