PLEASE READ MY THOUGHTS ON THIS. I feel very strongly about it with all the ice bucket challenges that I have seen the past few weeks. And I have an alternative so dont stop reading yet. :) Did you now that the ALS Association that is promoting the ice bucket challenge promotes an unethical search for a cure? Many researchers are willing to use embryonic stem cells and cells taken from “electively aborted” fetuses to search for a cure. The ice bucket challenges are fun and it is very refreshing to see so many people joining in to give money for a cure to the terrible ALS disease. Continue to do your ice bucket challenges...continue donating but consider donating instead toward ALS with the Mayo Clinic or other organizations that use 100 % of the money on research without using aborted children. As a mother who was encouraged by THREE different doctors to abort her own child, I cannot support the ALS Association. But there are many other alternatives that will still help those people suffering with ALS. Thanks for listening.
