PLEASE READ, NOTE AND ACT!!! Dear all, Please spend few minutes of your time in order to participate to the Public Consultation on the Ratification by the EU of the Minamata Convention on Mercury. You have time until this Friday 14th November. You need to answer the questionnaire on-line, available at this link: ec.europa.eu/environment/consultations/mercury_en.htm . See below the EEB response (in three separate PNG files) which you can use as example/copy & paste! The aim of this consultation is to solicit stakeholders input on specific issues related to the implementation of the Minamata Convention on Mercury. The results of the consultation will be used as input for the preparation of the Impact Assessment covering specific key areas where EU legislation may need to be amended. Your vote will have a concrete impact on the future EU policies related to mercury. A Mercury related legislative package is expected to be proposed by the EC early 2015! Please vote towards banning mercury use in Europe!
