PLEASE READ, PLEASE HELP, PLEASE SHARE THIS. An old land mark hotel, Meskel Flower Hotel to be demolished in the name of progress in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Please read and share so the Ethiopian government will reconsider the alternate design that will save the hotel and save the government from constructing an oval shaped round-about that is an oval shaped which ultimately will create a traffic congestion. Im very sad to report that today officials from the government came and sealed Meskel Flower hotel. The 100+ employees were in tears when officials inform them that they are not able to serve their customers in turn they will not have a job. As I have met most of them at my stay in Ethiopia two years a go, most employees have a family and some are the sole provider of their household. This small hotel is the first privately owned company to provide a similar to an IRA thats employer matched. The company were very progressive when it comes to treating their employees and their customers very well. I hope the government will come to their senses before they destroys it all.
