PLEASE READ THE TOTAL MESSAGE.... Today I had the privilege to serve my Lord with my most recent presentation, entitled: “The Forbidden Fruit, The Love of Jesus Christ”, at Brockton SDA Church, for the Induction Ceremony of Sion Adventures. I want the world to know, although there are many bad things happening around us, I personally observed a church that carries a huge amount of youths ranging from under 5 and above, with a strong leadership, great support and amazing. Today they also announce they are well on there way to purchase their own house of worship. As I rendered my service, I quickly thought about our two fire fighters who had passed away in the line of duty, my mother with her health issues and my friend T.C. for his conditions. This service is dedicated to them, but foremost to my Lord for giving me this chance to service Him. I have no idea why He selects me and continues to select me, yet He continues to use me and bless me as if to tell me, “You are not alone”. Well here is my point. Spring is here and we yes you and I, have a new chance at making a real change for the better. Now I am not asking you to come to my church in Jamaica Plain Spanish SDA. Or I am not asking you to change religions. All these things are personal human changes. But what I am asking you is to seriously stop, look up at the Lord and ask Him to, first, forgive you for all your sins. Does not matter what you did or how bad, all He wants is that you confess yourself to Him with your heart. You don’t need to get on your knees if you don’t like, although the act of kneeling is a sign of humbleness, but simple talk to Him. Have a conversation about your temptation, those forbidden fruits you have to deal with daily in your lives. Give Him your heart and mind and let the Father care for you, His sons and daughters. Now I want to also let you know, this will not be easy. Some might read this and say, “coming from Dave, SERIOUSLY!” becoming judgmental, and that is fine. But what if, for one minute I am correct? What if, what I am writing does not come from me but something that inspires me? The devil will put such small forbidden fruits in your path to slow you down. But for this moment all I am asking is simple, that as soon as you finish reading this, go to location where you can be alone or private and have a conversation with God. How hard is that????? The best part is no one will ever know but you and our Lord. By the way, yes the devil might make you feel as if this is stupid, or that you are not worthy. But I need you to consider two points and these are the two points that drive me to never quit. Did Jesus sit and ate with perfect people or sinners? And the other point is this, if you have not faith in doing such a small task, then what do you seriously have in the first place? I only ask for this, that when you do this, and you will that you pray for my family and me too. That our Lord uses you as a blessing got others. NOW, what if you do this once a day, everyday, then go to church either on Sabbath or Sunday, what blessing will one receive? If you are blessed now, or lack of, then what would happen “IF”. Don’t do this for me. Trust me I cannot save you and my help is limited, but just maybe Christ is knocking at your door, your heart. What do you have to loose. You’ve tried everything else…..
