PLEASE READ! The businesses on Atlantic Avenue need your help to reschedule the street/sidewalk repaving project which is currently planned for July on Atlantic Avenue. Local businesses including the restaurants, shops and Inns rely heavily upon the income derived during the short summer tourism season. For some, June through August sales account for as much as half of their annual revenue. Moving the construction project to September will provide local businesses with a much needed reprieve from last years losses, an opportunity to employ more local workers and hopefully will prevent further store closings as happened this past year along Atlantic Ave, Washington and Pleasant Streets.
