PLEASE READ To All My Fellow USFL FB Friends: As you know this is the 30 year anniversary of the final USFL season which ended so tragically after three years. Some teams were barely breathing while others didnt know if they would see the field again. For the past year and a half I have posted the games as they took place on the very date during that specific season (83 & 84). Now, I embark again on posting most of the 1985 games each week. I have communicated with my main USFL contact and friend in Canada who has an extensive library by far. He is ready to go as am I, but there is a surprise I have for you. Most of us know there was that ONE game at the start of the 85 season which we all heard about but NEVER really saw in its entirety; only highlights by ABC/ESPN. It was mainly because the video tape was silent and the audio didnt exist. Or did it? Yes folks, we have it. Thanks to Anthony Nunez, Houston Gamblers historian, who has given me permission to use the audio which I have already put together with the game. It still needs more post production (graphics, close up shots etc) but most of it is there. The entire project will be finished in time for the 30th anniversary which will be posted on my YouTube Channel, USFL Forever on February 24th at 8pm.
