Vern Everette, a friend of a friend of MariLynn Moore. He remains on dialysis but has improved slightly. Lucas Buchanan, who MariLynn had also requested prayers for is now home from VUMC and recovering. MariLynn is also requesting prayers for Barbara Moore, the mother of Brent Moore, following her colon cancer surgery, has now been moved to a regular room where she will stay about a week if everything goes well. Right now, they are waiting for the Pathology results to come back in to see the long term outlook. Steve Davis, the husband of Barbara Bills Davis, is recovering from knee replacement surgery at home. Pray for speedy healing and a complete recovery. Linda Bowen Simpson is now recovering at home after she fell recently in her home, breaking her hip. Betty Lytle, the mother of Bobby Lytle, is dealing with Lymphoma and Melanoma. Debbie Roper-Gentry, the sister and sister-in-law of Ronnie Roper and Jeannie Roper. Debbie is struggling with cancer. Penny Greer, the wife of Danny Greer, who was recently injured in from a fall. She is doing much better with the help of Danny. Ke Ning and Mei Mei, the wife and daughter of Houston Haynes Mason. Mei became a Christian not long ago. Pray for her as she begins her new walk with Christ. Ke Ning is not a Christian. Pray that she will accept Christ into her heart. Garrett Jackson, Chico, CA, recently underwent surgery for cancer. Stan DeLong; San Diego,CA, retired Navy Chaplain and minister has stage four cancer. Judy Graves Spencer, TN, has bone cancer; Roy ( Buddy) Dillard, Portland, TN, has dementia. The family of Harold Murff who passed away following surgery at VUMC to remove a mass on his brain. Allo Filson from Hendersonville is in VUMC after having cancer surgery Wednesday but she is to go home Monday. These are friends of my brother, Larry. Claudia Sharafi who fell recently and shattered her knee. She is now at home, but will need a knee replacement. She will need to recover a little more and work on scheduling her knee replacement surgery. She is, also, trying to resolve insurance issues. Frank Oglesby of Nashville, the husband of Patricia A. Oglesby. Frank is having some health issues and the doctors are trying to determine the reason. Sue Smallwood is asking for prayers for her friend Glenda Green. Gary Luther as he continues to undergo tests to determine the cause of his health problems and discomfort. Pray for his wife Sandra, also. Jean Gleason, the mother of Jessi Gleason Bannister, underwent surgery recently and is well ahead of her recovery schedule. She as able to attend worship services Sunday. Nikki Brown is at home with complete bed rest after complications with of her pregnancy. Please pray for her and for baby Autumn. Janet Dugger, Johnson City, TN, had surgery recently to fuse a disc in her vertebrae. Janet is no longer able to work and SSA has denied her disability leaving her with no income. Lee McClaran is hospitalized with pneumonia and his wife, Betty, who has cancer, is not doing well. Those living with cancer that I am aware of are Al Demonbreun, Tim McClaran, Betty Gannon and Tony Washer. Ruth Orr, the mother of Mary Beth Orr Smith and Janna Orr Connelly, is living with cancer and being treated with chemotherapy. Alan Harris, the husband of Misty Harris, is encountering several health issues. It has been determined that the mass in his bladder is not cancer. He will undergo more tests and surgery to repair his. colovesicular fistula D.R. Caldwell, the son of Doug Caldwell, who was in an auto accident and underwent successful shoulder surgery recently and is healing nicely. Ashley Smartt, niece of Cindy Hamby and Keatha Caldwell, has received bad news. The lymph nodes in Ashleys neck and abdomen have both grown, which tell doctors that the treatment is no longer working. It appears that she will be going to MD Anderson in Houston. Granville Mullins, Smyrna TN, is having difficulty with his cancer and other health problems. The aunt of Crystal Keel, Lisa, entered Sarah Cannon Cancer Center recently for treatment. Ruby Gaither Williams of Dickson, TN. Ruby is experiencing serious health problems. Pray, also, for her husband, Jim, who is experiencing issues with his colon. Linda Polsgrove as her husband, Hubert, was admitted to V.A. Hospital recently due to breathing problems and they found a growth on left lung. The daughter of friend of Charlie Huffines gave birth to twin girls recently, each weighing barely over one pound. The mothers name is Misty Foy and the twlns names are Alice and Kelly Rose Foy. Alice is now up to 4 lbs 6 oz and in an open crib, taking a few bottles while Rose continues to grow as she is up to 2 lb 8 oz. Please continue to pray for these little girls. David McClanahan, a cousin from Odessa, WA, is asking prayers for a granddaughters husband, Travis, who is a Army Blackhawk pilot with two tours in the Middle East and for a grandson, Phillip, who is in the Air Force, stationed in the Middle East. Teresa Meyer of Myrtle Beach, SC is asking for prayers for her sister-in-law, Chris ONeal Bowman. She had a double mastectomy and lymph nodes removed. She will be starting chemotherapy and radiation in about 2-3 weeks. Jeannine Morris, the mother of Jeanna Louise Morris and Janet Morris Grimes. Jeannine was in a car accident a few weeks ago. She is doing well, but she will still be In a neck brace for a couple more months. Former Gallatin High School coach, Hots Reynolds who is in declining health. Pray, also,for his wife Betty McCormick Reynolds. Debbie Arnold, the wife of Timothy Arnold, fell and shattered her kneecap. She is dealing with some pain, but able to walk around at home. She is scheduled to have the pins removed in January. Pat Holliday, the sister of Phil Brewer and the aunt of Teresa Brewer Steel, has been moved to a transition bed and is doing much better. Eric Lee Franks, age 38, the son of Jo Ann Adams Franks of Archbold, Ohio, has been missing from Saginaw MI since March 21, 2011. Please pray that he may be found. Ernest Lampley, the husband of Barbara Dickerson Lampley, had surgery recently and is doing very well. Also, pray for their son, David, who is still seeking employment. He has a temporary job. June Heydel, a friend of Barbaras, has begun treatment for cancer. Pray for her busband Bill, also. Walker Evans, 13, son of Stuart Evans and Emily Christianson Evans, who has Cystic Fibrosis. Sadie Hulsey, three year old daughter of Jeffrey and Candace Smith Hulsey of Wilmington, NC. She has Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukemia (JMML) a rare and serious chronic leukemia. Sadie is a cousin to Nathan, the husband of Courtney Hulsey. Shelby Huff of Hill City SD, 18, daughter of Jenn Huff, who is now 100% free of the Very Severe Aplastic Anemia and the Lymphoma cancer she has dealt with for about 2 years. Other than her T-cells, which were 85, almost all of Shelbys counts are in the NORMAL range! T-cells count needs to be in the 200 range. Savannah Lee Wright, the 17 year old granddaughter of Betty Sircy, who is battling Leukemia and is concurrently in remission. She was a Honor Student and Cheerleader from Gainesboro, TN. She is now being homeschooled. Ashley Jade Komanetsky, 16, daughter of Tina Komanetsky of Orlando, FL. Ashley has learned that she has MDS. Her Bone Marrow Transplant has been put on hold due to rising platelet counts. Joelle Verchio Flick is asking for prayers for her 1 year old great-neice, Avery, in Iowa,. She has been diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcom, a malignant and aggressive cancer. Pray also for Averys parents, Justin and Heidi.
