PLEASE SHARE: 171 DAYS. That is a long time, isnt it? That 171 days in a kennel has been, sadly, REDS reality. Life in a kennel, that would seem unthinkable to us humans, has been handled with as much class and ease by the extraordinary RED. What is the most difficult for us staffers to understand is WHY RED is still here!?!? He is near perfect, folks. Yep, we said it. A front office favorite for lap warming, RED is an absolutely pleasant 6 year old Chihuahua mix. We hate to see the middle-aged and senior dogs living la vida shelter (and in the winter months! Brrrr!) -- especially when we can see so clearly that this guy wants to be in a home so badly! He does really well with other dogs, and would probably do well with cats, too. We cant imagine much this distinguished gentleman wouldnt acclimate to. A stunning red coat and fetching professorial-thing going for him, RED is ready to live out the rest of his many years in a loving and committed home environment with people who adore him as much as we all do. We promise you, future adopter: RED will capture your heart and have you at his first Yip! PLEASE give RED a chance....you won regret adding this grounded, philosophic lad into your life.
