PLEASE SHARE ... ABOUT PAYING IT FORWARD ... Im leaving for OPERATION NEW YORK early in the morning. ( i.e., to address my elderly father being systematically abused by family and a nursing home - that Ill post at a later time) ... My good friends Dave & Wayne made sure I had funds for my journey - all on a card in my wallet along with what cash I had on hand. Good people all around me lately and actually for quite a while ... you know who you are because youre receiving this text. So I arrived home around five did some chores and texts and a silly conversation with my friend on the phone. All is coming together. So I pick up and to go to the grocery next store to get provisions for the trip. And some things for my roommate just because hes awesome. I go to check out and my wallet is missing ... you can imagine. Oh Ya. Oh Ya. I ran home, around the store twice ... oh Ya. And it ends like this ... I found my wallet. ..it had dropped out of my pocket when I reached to help a neighbor change a porch light. When I went back to the store I was told a lady and her son had heard what happened and they played for my groceries. I found them in the parking lot before they left. They refused reimbursement. Their picture follows this communication. NOTE: Its not cool to let the grocery store clerks see you wipe tears from your eyes. It just aint cool. BUT THIS IS: These nice people told me they were just paying it forward, so I encourage each one of YOU receiving this to please pay something forward to someone else besides me. WHY? Because doubling down on paying it forward is just plain cool. THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR HELP, YOUR GOOD THOUGHTS and ENCOURAGEMENT. RJ
