Suggested comment or write your own - Of the 550 members of the Taiji Fishing Cooperative, only 26 maintain the right to hunt dolphins, and only 13 boats have a license to conduct the hunts. The hunts are not traditional, they are not for food, all other Japanese drive fisheries have ceased and these 26 men are the only Japanese citizens continuing. The slaughter is inhumane, breaches the International Animal Rights Act on slaughter which says no animal can be slaughtered in front of another, the animals do not die instantly, mothers are slaughtered and babies dumped back out at sea, the fishermen terrorise them with their boat engines and look at the cameras and laugh to antagonise the watching world. The fishermen lie to your citizens about the toxicity too caring for no one but themselves. They bring shame and hatred to Taiji and Japan with their actions.
