For all of you waiting for an exact date & time for the Town Hall meeting/rally to RECALL Councilman Jorge Vera on grounds that he broke the public trust, and obstruction; ITS WEDNESDAY, August 13, at Caesars Reception Hall, 5430 Riverside Drive at 6pm. ANY registered voter in district #7 can sign the petition. If you cant make it to the Town Hall and you want to sign the RECALL petition, we will bring the petition to your front door. Simply let us know through the LCGG message box or call 568-0059, leave your info, and we will get back with you. We also need a few volunteers to help in any way you can. Mayor and City Council Seats and Whos Running so far: Mayor: Pete Saenz, Attorney & Businessman, former Webb County Commissioner Jerry Garza, District 8 Councilwoman Cindy Liendo, Guadalupe Botellon and Jose Dorantes Jr. District 1 replacing termed out Mike Garza: Rodolfo Gonzalez Jr., Rogelio Benavides Jr. District 2 incumbent Estaban Rangel is running and thus far has no challengers. District 3 incumbent Alejandro Perez running against DPS Investigator Abraham Lugo, and Ulysis Sakinas III District 6 incumbent Charlie San Miguel is running and thus far has no challengers. District 8 Councilwoman Cindy Liendo stepping down to run for Mayor. Running for her position is Attorney Roberto Balli, and Vicky Garcia. District 7 will become open if Councilman Vera resigns in light of his felony arrest charge, and obstruction, or is recalled by the citizens, or convicted through the judicial system. like the LCGG
