PLEASE SHARE, PLEASE SHARE, PLEASE SHARE PLEASE ***BE HERE TOMORROW AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE*** The Geelong Harley-Davidsons Cancer Run is very proud to be supporting our Geelong Hospital with 100% of the proceeds raised going to the Andrew Love Cancer Centre. The ride launch is on Saturday morning the 9th of August 2014 at 10.30am at GH-D, 506-508 Latrobe Boulevard Geelong. The media launch will be conducted by the Geelong Harley Owners Group members, some are recent cancer survivors themselves who received their cancer treatment by the wonderful team at Andrew Love. A very passionate group of family and H.O.G members will Shave their heads at the ride launch ceremony at 10.30am. This is also an important symbolic gesture of support for a young man within our community. He is one of the H.O.G members nephews and will be released from hospital just days before Saturday the 9th of August after his chemotherapy treatment. This young man is suffering from testicular cancer and is only 28 years of age so it will be great to rally around him showing our combined support on the day. To help raise much needed funds in the fight against cancer in our community, the wonderful Ladies of H.O.G are baking cakes and Andrea the Director of GH-D will do her famous scones. The H.O.G boys will rattle tins for a piece of cake on the day. Please promote this event anyway you can individually, more importantly make sure you attend this symbolic launch of the Geelong Harley-Davidson Cancer Run, which 100% of proceeds go to the Andrew Love Cancer Centre.
