PLEASE SHARE THIS AS MUCH AS YOU CAN AJK Judiciary is totally confused with unlimited discretionary powers to the judges and lack of checks and balances. Justice in AJK is a rare commodity as a civil case may take 20 years to reach recording of first witness. I would like the Chief Justice AJK High Court to consider the following for sake of Kashmiris and Kashmir: 1. Define structure of judiciary in AJK, organisation and location. 2. Define roles and job description, duties, responsibilities and accountabilities for every role. 3. Design processes for lodgement, validation, acceptance, commencement, notification, witness recording, arguments, formation of judgement and reviews. 4. Time Management in compiling list of cases and hearing and time limit for all process listed in 3. 5. Introduction of check lists for all process listed in 3. 6. Court Management and automation where possible 7. File Management and Electronic Record Management employing imaging technology 8. Archiving and release of attested copies 9. Any other duty assigned by the CJ 10. Weekly progress reporting and hearing of internal complaints, quarterly performance reviews and promotions, increments, training and demotions based on performance and complaints If implemented: Thousands of minds will be free to think positively for the state and society A large number of judicially enslaved citizens will be allowed to contribute to GNP Society as a whole will prosper and be respectful in the eyes of others. Liberation of IoK will become practical as we can ask others to give justice as we do to our people. This is just a draft and needs more subject matter to be added. God bless AJK
