Hes currently in Canon City, CO and transport can be arranged to the Denver area or Colorado Springs. Tig came in as a stray and went to what appeared to be the perfect home where he did great with their other dogs and children. He soon after started to have seizures in the adoptive home and was returned to the shelter as they did not want to deal with the medications and vet appointments. No one is able to monitor him at the shelter so he is looking for a foster home and a rescue who can take him on. It is unsafe for him to be left alone 12+ hours between times when employees come into the shelter on non business days. He is currently on phenobarbital and antibiotics. It is unknown if he is continuing to have seizures in the shelter with the medication. Tig is a very interesting big boy who is already neutered and 4 years old. He is a brindle mixed breed with marbled eyes and wonky ears. Such character. He is very friendly with humans and passed dog introductions. He is not cat friendly. Tig is currently at the Fremont County Humane Society in Canon City, CO. Transport to Denver/Springs can be arranged! Please email summitdogrecue@yahoo ASAP if you can help.
