Women’s Wear Designer, Cheap Monday Our women’s designer will commence her maternity leave in January 2015 and Cheap Mondays is looking for a driven and dedicated temporary women’s wear designer (not denim). You will be a member of our Design-team and located in the head office in Stockholm. The assignment is full time and will be starting January 2014 and go on for a minimum of 6 months probably longer. Job Responsibilities You will be designing the whole women’s wear collection (apart from denim jeans and jackets). • Be responsible for the collection’s customer focus and how they are affected by trends and take action. • Be responsible for and drive the research for the collection. Define the vision of the collection in collaboration with C.D and team long term and per season. • Be responsible for the best assortment for the collection and customer (timing and co-ordination. • Continuously seek out relevant tendencies for the Cheap Monday customer, best basics and best sale. • Be responsible for developing and communicating visual information to relevant parties. • Continuously review the collection and take action. Job Requirements 2 years of experience in designing women’s wear and a Bachelor degree in women’s wear design. This is a minimum requirement. • Excellent creative and organizational skills. • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English. • Mac literate: Excellent Word, Photoshop and Illustrator skills. • Proven ability to meet strict deadlines and maintain timelines and calendars.
