***PLEASE SHARE*** and if youve adopted a senior, please feel free to share here just how wonderful they can be. Senior dogs are quite frequently passed over in the shelter. What people dont realize is that a senior dog is often trained, to include housebroken, is less likely to tear up your house, they often just want a comfortable bed and cuddles and is generally much lower maintenance than a younger dog. Unfortunately, we have quite a few seniors at the shelter right now looking for their new homes. Please consider adopting or fostering on of our seniors. Heres Lumpy and Jill, two of our seniors enjoying a bit of fresh air. If nothing else, you should come adopt Lumpy just so he can have a more flattering name! :)
