PLEASE SIGN AND SHARE West Palm Beach, FL - A paralyzed German Shepard mix named Frankie was left in an empty field close to the county’s shelter last week. The dog was found by an employee who was coming to work. Frankie was sitting on a blanket, just waiting for someone to rescue her. Since vets refused to divulge information about Frankie’s past treatments, investigators pushed for a subpoena to find out who Frankie’s owner was. They indeed found out, but the mystery deepens, since Frankie’s owner claims she was stolen or somehow escaped overnight. However, there has been no report of a break-in at the home of Frankie’s listed owner. It is our view that it is morally and ethically wrong to leave a paralyzed dog behind in this manner. We therefore urge the authorities to continue the investigation and bring the people responsible for this to justice. This is a heartless act and those responsible should be prosecuted for abandonment!
