PLEASE TAKE A MINUTE TO READ THIS WHOLE THING, I AM OVERCOME WITH GRATITUDE Ok the party / FUNdraiser for Debbie Crossman is over and we are so grateful for the support of so many good people that Onnalee Burgen and I want to formally thank each and every one of you. Everyone that contributed did so with no expectations and that just makes it so heart warming and amazing. First, Eric Sereno aka Iron Head (Iron Head Productions) who jumped in with both feet from day ONE helping line up bands, a venue, and then bringing his sound company to the gig, setting up SO much equipment, running it tirelessly all day, and at the end of the day tearing it all down again. So much work and no expectations other than a good time… that my friends is a guy with a big heart .. thank you brother. Samantha Sereno, Eric’s wife, who stayed at the door all day long stamping guests and taking donations. That is a hard job and she did it with a smile and a few strawberitas J thanks Sam for that For the bands that gave their time and efforts, you guys are truly awesome to bring such great music and talent and perform just because you cared enough to do it. Yankee Rebel – Southern Rock and that’s how you do it… If you haven’t seen them and you like Skynyrd, Blackfoot, Allman Bros, etc do yourself a favor and check them out… they sound fantastic Little Queen – also the band I’m playing in – was very happy to do our debut here at the benefit. We were so excited to here the hoots, cheers, claps and whistles after each song, and we can’t wait to do it again. We will be publishing ourselves online soon with a web page and a Facebook page to and putting ourselves out there with more gigs. Dixie Dirt – Bringing a little country to the country, Keith leads them up with that VOICE and the band backs him up in every way and they sounded awesome. Check them out soon, you will see what I mean. Kat Tale – Ahhhh my good buddies for 15+ years. We’ve been through so much together and you guys are my friends on but more importantly off the stage. Love you guys. I would also like to give extra thanks to Donnie Farrington and Eric Wilson who brought their bass rig and drums and left them there all day for everyone to play to make things easier for all the bands as that equipment is heavy and time consuming to set up and tear down. Mel and Travis from Boozers Boozers Saloon in Oswego, and his daughter and her hubby for providing a place to hold the party and not only serving drinks and food all day but also keeping the prices down on drinks. Thanks you guys for everything you did for us and for Debbie. Rob Rathbun from DJRob4U karaoke company for setting up his Karaoke system and providing entertainment between bands and also after the last band. I even did a couple of tunes and I don’t really sing (count your blessings) and it was a riot watching everyone get krazy on Karaoke especially towards the end of the night. Thank you Rob J I would also like to say thank you to Melis Benn and Amy Knox Calkins who made cupcakes for the event. They were so good one person (That would be Lorrie Greco Kammer ) bought an entire box... thanks so much. Finally I would really like to say thank you to the friends that came out and spent the day with us rockin out to some great bands, having fun, and supporting our cause. Thank you we really appreciate you :) Debbie and David Crossman, I’m sorry you werent able to attend but we totally understand. What you missed was such a huge show of love and support that could restore anyone’s faith in mankind for at least a day. It was all for you and your family, and we want to say we love you and hope that in some small way what everyone did today will make your days a little easier and your heart a little stronger from all the love.
