PLEASE TELL ME IF THIS SOUNDS AT ALL SUSPICIOUS. Okay, Im getting really annoyed with Yahoo Customer Care. All I want is to be able to get back into my new account, and it feels like its a lot more difficult than it should be. Ive been talking with Yahoo Customer Care back and forth using my old e-mail, and now they say they need all this from me: Your name An email address where we can contact you (at this time, we are only able to reply via email) Copy of a state/government issued photo ID that includes your date of birth (please use the lightest setting of your copier) Yahoo ID Permission for Yahoo to enter your account Birth date on the account The answer(s) to your Security Question(s) Postal/ZIP code Country Alternate email address and/or mobile number listed on your account I dont understand why all this is necessary. And how is my photo going to help them? Do they actually have access to some government database that has my picture in it to match it to? I dont know how this shit works. And if they want the answers to my security questions, I sure as hell hope they plan to ask me the questions first, because I dont remember what the questions were. But I would know the answers to them. Why cant they just ask me those instead of all this other crap? Isnt that the purpose of them anyway?
