The gift card(s) can be in any denomination and does not have to be for a specific food item. This would be a unique opportunity for an office, church, or group of friends, to contribute together to purchase a large gift card to pay it forward for persons in need. For this particular restaurant, they have requested that we use EPIC CHURCH GIFT CARD FUND, since they know that the Hands Across Decatur With Suspended Coffee Decatur Epic Church eLife Team are the ones who are starting this movement in our community. The person(s) coming to the restaurant to pay it forward are to inform the restaurant that they wish to contribute to the Epic Gift Card Fund . The gift card is held at the restaurant for future use by a person in need who does not have the money for a drink or meal. If there are still funds available on the gift card(s), the restaurant can then offer the person in need ONE meal or drink, free of charge, because it has already been paid for previously. The amount of their item (or meal) will be deducted from the gift card and the gift card will continue to be held at the store for use by another future person in need.
