PLINYOKCATACYOF /plihn-yoh-kaht-ah-see-uhf/ ...A shorter way (but not by much...) for a hotel elevator to tell one to PLEASE INSERT YOUR KEY CARD TO ACCESS YOUR FLOOR. This gets annoying REALLY FAST, and most hotel guests get to the point of wanting to kill the elevator voice very early on in their stay. The hotel may disconnect the actual function for special occasions, but said annoying voice sadly remains. Note: This term can be used with any variation of this type of phrase as long as it is as annoying as @#$%!, and is a recorded voice, spoken in any elevator. This sort of thing makes one long for bad elevator music.
