PLOT TWIST: I have to come clean. I RELAPSED. I have not had any solid food, a hot cooked real meal since Thursday evening. Following oral surgery Friday morning, I had nothing but clear liquids, nothing hot. day 2 and 3 was pudding, jello, warm tea, broth. Nothing I could chew! A bit of creamy soup yesterday (no chunks of meats or veggies!). At lunch, it started with a small cup of turkey noodle soup. That was it. Like letting a junkie have a taste. I had to have real hot food!. My mouth had calmed down enough, the swelling was down. I cracked and had a rice bowl with General Chows chicken. And I added extra spicy hot teriakyi sauce when I brought it home. It was spicy hot, very warm and very filling.......Followed by 2 chocolate chip cookies!
