My boyfriends ex girlfriend is threatening to not give him their daughter because she told her mum she wants to love with us. His daughter stays with us 4 days/nights a week. Tuesdays and Fridays after school, Saturdays after work, and Sundays all day. And she sleeps at our place all four days. He hasnt given her money this month or last month since he lend her dad money. Even though she stays all this time with us he still gives her $200/month. We provide her with clothing, food, we take her out, and buy her what she wants. We live in a 3 bedroom house and it is just us three. Her mother lives with her husband and her other daughter at her mothers house. They only rent a room. My boyfriend has been giving her cash for the past 4-5 years. During the first 2 years she was taking money from the government saying that the dad wasnt giving her money. She does the taxes and gets a lot of money for her daughter, but has never given him any money. I heard that he could win this case since she never sued him for not giving money (since he doesnt have proof). We just got her to send a text that he was giving her money even before me and him moved in together. We also have witnesses that know that she stays with us most of the time. Could he win the case? I heard from a lawyer that since she never sued him or anything that he could win. His daughter loves to be with us and me and her get along really well. Does that make sense - Majenta
