PM Nawaz Sharif inaugurates the Coastal Power Project Courtesy:-Radio Pakistan Addressing the ceremony‚ PM said beginning of 2200 MW project is indeed proud moment in the energy history of Pakistan. Addressing the foundation laying ceremony of Coastal Power Project‚ Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that he came to Karachi for laying foundation stone of the biggest power project which is another step to end load-shedding. He said that this project will be executed with the cooperation of China. He said that China is cooperating with Pakistan in various sectors including power sector. Prime Minister said that we are proud of China’s support. He said Pak-China friendship is deep than oceans and high than Himalias. The Prime Minister said the government determined to change the fate of the country and to make the nation prosperous and developed. He said that we want to provide equal opportunity to every citizen to grow. The Prime Minister said that other power projects including Bonji Dam will be initiated. He said that government wants to develop Karachi as modern city like Dubai‚ Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong. He said this is one of our first step to achieve the lodshedding free Pakistan and we want to change the fate of the masses. The Prime Minister said Project is a leap in Pak china bilateral cooperation. Earlier Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrived in Karachi‚ Governor Sindh and CM Sindh paid a warm welcome on his arrival at airport.
