PM election issues: Okay, So. I stepped down as monarch, and Jack was elected in my place. He appointed KK to Prime Minister, who stepped down after a few weeks due to mundane responsibility. Because there was an open position that needed to be filled (and I was already taking care of some of it) and it was inappropriate for Jack to hold both the monarch AND PM positions, (due to the fact that should there be an issue, the monarch and PM each hold half of the vote.) I offered to take on the position of PM temporarily, to get us through the holidays/give us time to hold actual elections, as they were coming up soon. Arathamus ran for Prime Minister. Even though he ran alone, he still needed to be voted in, and because of the holidays we were having issues with voting, so we employed an online voting site, which would allow us to vote once per IP address, to prevent duplicate voting. (just in case) Had there been a second person running for the position, and the people had chosen one over the other, then the officers would have had to abide by the wishes of the people, and appoint the person that the people chose to the position of PM. In the same line of thought, just because Arathamus ran alone, does not mean the options to vote should be *yes* or *abstain* and him win by default. (Supported by the protem position portion of the Wetlands Corpora) So, we held voting (Which was closed on nov 21) Had the following results *Yes - 9 *No - 12 *Abstain - 3 Thus, as per the note on the poll site, In the case of the populace voting in the negative, the position of PM will be filled via the Protem portions of the Corpora. That position was filled by Marcus, as he was both Active, and willing to hold the position. The only reason I currently sit as the PM still, is because Jack has felt that the parks numbers were too shallow to truly hold a vote that day, so it was held off. This past weekend, he simply forgot, which I can easily forgive. This upcoming weekend will be the confirmation vote, saying whether we keep Marcus (Who has been handling the credits and ORK for the past month, without my help) or do this WHOLE song and dance over again/ Thank you.
