PMIBC Volunteer Spotlight ---------------------------------- Juanita Reed, PMP, ITIL V3 Director Corporate Training Juanita assumed responsibility as the Director of Corporate Training in late December, 2013. By August 2014 she had successfully negotiated agreements with three new clients, the University of Baltimore Technology Department, Johns Hopkins Medicine International IT Department and the Social Security Administration Division of Buildings Management. Between these clients, seven classes were delivered between May and December, including Risk Management Essentials, Advanced Risk Management and Agile Basics. Juanita is very dedicated and determined to make corporate training an effective and efficient program. She developed a statement of work (SOW) templates for customers and instructors. These templates ensure the scope of the engagement and all party’s responsibilities are clearly documented. Her template for recording key elements of proposals and engagements provides an easy and effective way to track and report status. Juanita is extremely diligent in providing timely responses and follow up to all aspects of each corporate engagement. Juanita currently works for EMC Technical Solutions Group in Columbia, Maryland as a program manager/senior project manager where she is responsible for post-sales delivery of multiple complex storage solutions (Hardware, Software, Disk Backup, Disaster Recovery, and Content Management Services) to commercial and Federal customers. She holds several certifications including PMP, ITIL Foundations (v3), Cisco Certified Network Adm. (CCNA), 2000 Citrix Adm. (CCA) – Metaframe 1.8, Cisco Certified Network Adm. (CCNA), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, NT, Microsoft Certified Prof. + Internet, and Certified Business Analysis.
