POLICE REPORT A LARGE NUMBER OF THEFTS AND BREAK-INS ACROSS DUMFRIES Break-in – Dumfries The premises of Loreburn Housing in Moffat Road in Dumfries were broken into sometime around 2020 hours on Thursday 1 January 2015. Nothing appears to have been taken however damage was caused to the building during the break-in. Theft – Dumfries A blue coloured Landrover Freelander 4 x 4 vehicle was broken into and a Dell make laptop computer, an engineering level and a laser tape were all stolen. The theft occurred sometime between 1530 hours and 1745 hours on Friday 2 January 2014. The value of the property stolen is around £1200. Theft – Dumfries A girl’s pink coloured pink bike has been stolen from a house in Golf Avenue in Dumfries sometime between 25/27 December 2014. Break-ins – Dumfries A number of sheds and a works van have been broken into at the yard of S Kennedy in St Mary’s Industrial Estate in Dumfries sometime between 27/30 December 2014.
