POLITE NOTICE Hello everyone this is a polite notice to make everyone aware of why staff are asking parents to stay with their children if they arrive early. In early years the staff work to set ratios for example: 1:3 - 0-2 years 1:4 - 2-3 years 1:8 - 3+ Our setting is allowed 8 babies in the 0-2 room and a total of 32 in the 2-5 room. If parents arrive even 10 minutes before their childs start times it can make our ratios wrong and we will then be classed as working against the legal requirements set by OFSTED. We also are audited yearly by the local authority who check our registers to see if we are following working practices. If you for any reason need to drop your child early then please make prior arrangements with Zoe who will then let the staff know. Please be reassured that we are being extra vigilant because we are following the EYFS legal requirements of staff to children ratios. THANK YOU FOR YOUR CO-OPERATION IN THIS MATTER.
